Husband of Julia Ward Howe. LS on 8 x 5 engraved “Perkins Institution and Mass. Asylum for the Blind” letterhead, Boston, March 18 1868, to Supt., Western Railroad. Howe seeks a ˝-price pass next day to New Haven for a blind girl.
