(1885-1965) Famed illusionist and magician of the 1920's-50's, started in vaudeville and became an international star. He entertained Coolidge at The White House and troops in WW II. Noted for illusions such as “sawing a woman in half", "vanishing bird cage", "The Garden of Flowers," and "The Floating Light Bulb". Signed original ink-sketched portrait on dark pink 3 ¼ x 4 ¼ album page, signed with sentiment and year 1940.
