(1912-2007, b. Claudia Alta Taylor) M. Lyndon B. Johnson 1934-73, First Lady of the US 1963-69. Advocate for beautification of the nation's cities and highways and conservation of natural resources. After leaving the White House and her husband's death in 1973, she became an entrepreneur, creating the $150 million LBJ Holdings Company. Recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Congressional Gold Medal, the highest civilian honors. SP, 5 x 7 color photo of Mrs. Johnson in red dress standing behind large tree and in front of the Stonewall, Texas Johnson ranch house, signed with sentiment. Stamp-dated August 30 1968 on verso.
