In 1866 Graham was again elected to the US Senate, but because North Carolina had not yet been readmitted to the Union, he did not present his credentials. 10 x 8 ALS as Navy Secretary, Navy Department (Washington), February 17 1851, to a Columbus, Ohio collector, complying with a request (for his autograph).

Condition: Very good, repaired tear and fold separations, light overall toning, lower right corner bends
