As one of MGM's major stars of the 1940s, she received 7 Academy Award nominations (“Goodbye, Mr. Chips”, 1939; “Blossoms in the Dust”, 1941; “Madame Curie”, 1943; “Mrs. Parkington”, 1944; “The Valley of Decision”, 1945”; “Sunrise at Campobello”, 1960) and winning the Best Actress award for “Mrs. Miniver”, 1942. Her last film was “Little Women”, 1978. Signed 3 ½ x 5 ¼ card, with 1938 book portrait. Undated but early-mid 1940s.
