I have a remarkable number of signatures on album pages presented below. They are chiefly from the collection of the late Joe Forrest of Maryland, who was one of the Washington, D. C. metropolitan area's greatest in-person "autograph hounds". From approximately 1950 until 1995, Joe, his wife Joyce, and a few kindred spirits spent untold hours with their autograph books at every imaginable venue. At concert halls, jazz clubs, theatres, hotels, sports arenas, broadcasting studios, etc., Joe and his circle, having been alerted by persons in public relations, the press, hotel staff, etc., would descend and wait for their moment. I had the opportunity to examine literally hundreds of Joe's autograph albums, as well as Joyce Forrest's huge autograph album collection, and I have never in my career seen such "gold" as in these books! They were auctioned off by Joyce after Joe's death, adding her own collection as well. I was privileged to obtain a good part of the Forrest collection, and a diverse group it is. These IN-PERSON AUTOGRAPHS are often great for framing along with a photograph, or any other illustration or picture. These are NOT already framed--just the simple signature. MINIMUM OVERSEAS ORDER IS $20. I hope you will enjoy owning a piece of the Forrest Collection for yourself!
